President Uhuru Kenyatta is expected to arrive at Sagana State Lodge this morning for a four day working tour.
On his arrival, the Head of State will meet Members of the County Assembly from Mt Kenya region in what Head of PSCU and office of the President Spokesperson Kanze Dena says is purely a meeting to deliberate on development matters.
The President will on Saturday meet Members of Parliament, Governors, Senators among other leaders from the region to discuss matters affecting the region as well as development.
Interior PS Karanja Kibicho has arrived at the State Lodge accompanied by head of Presidential Delivery Unit Andrew Wakahiu.

Kanze says, the President will tour various projects in the region during his stay to check on the level of implementation as well as launch new projects.
She said the President is grateful to parents for taking their children back to school in what has been a seamless transition though with a few challenges.
Kanze said girls who became pregnant during the COVID-19 pandemic period must report back to school once they give birth.
She added that the President is concerned with the high number of arson cases in schools after their re-opening and has urged the Ministry of Education as well as other stakeholders to establishing the cause and come up with a lasting solution.
